Stroke Symptoms are many and varied. Stroke Symptoms are usually noticed after the stroke. Stroke Symptoms are often confused with the warning signs of a heart attack. Heart attack symptoms are quite different from stroke symptoms. The warning signs are:
A stroke symptom can be a sign of anything from a simple spasm or weakness in one side of the brain to a full-blown stroke. The symptoms are not limited to only one side of the brain. Stroke symptoms also can affect the speaking side of the brain.
Stroke Symptoms are usually described as a “phasy.” Aphasia is a Latin word meaning “not speaking.” Stroke Symptoms such as slurred speech or inability to speak normally can mean that the patient is experiencing aphasia. S for speech difficulty also. If a person has been suffering from stroke symptoms, it is time to act quickly.
Other stroke symptoms can include: fainting, confusion, dizziness, changes in vision, or paralysis of one side of the body. Sometimes a stroke may include speech difficulties as well. Aphasia can lead to difficulty understanding conversations or even hearing them. This can make communication very difficult for the victim. Some people with aphasia have difficulty saying the very simplest words.
When there are large amounts of the protein antigens within the blood, a blood clot can form. This blood clot forms in the interior of the artery, which is a tube that carries blood from the heart to the brain. It is possible that the stroke symptoms such as memory loss or difficulty with language can be as a result of this happening. The use of antiplatelets can reduce the risks of brain injury.
Stroke symptoms such as lack of sensation, numbness or tingling in the hands or feet, slurred or garbled speech, and trouble seeing or hearing can be warning signs that this could be a symptom of a stroke without warning. These symptoms can be warning signs but there is no guarantee that they will occur. The only sure way to know if it is something serious is to see your doctor. There are two kinds of anticonvulsant medications that can be used to treat these types of symptoms. The first is Ionithermie and the other is Basel II.
Another set of signs that can occur with stroke symptoms are the weakness or numbness on one side of the body. People can have weakness or numbness on one side of their body for many reasons. It might be because of a sprain or a bruise. Some people have lost the ability to feel their feet. However, more common signs of weakness are due to a lack of oxygen or carbon dioxide in the blood stream or in the brain.
If you have any of these symptoms and they are sudden and severe, it is best to seek medical attention immediately. You should never delay treatment for a problem unless you have first contacted your doctor and are no longer in danger. Your doctor can make an assessment to see if your symptoms are indeed caused by a stroke and if so, what kind of procedure will be performed. If you are in any doubt, get checked out immediately.
Symptoms of Drowsiness-The second most common sign that your brain might be in danger is drowsiness. Most people do not have problems when they are drowsy but as a matter of fact many who have suffered from brain damage over time, have lessened chances of remaining aware. A lack of energy can be a symptom as well as fatigue. Usually the person is not tired physically, but they are not as mentally active as they once were. This can also lead to irritability and depression if the person lacks interest in activities that they once loved.
Speech Difficulty Along with a decrease in memory and consciousness, there can be speech difficulties as well. Some people who have suffered from a type of stroke known as a cerebrovascular accident, can experience difficulty speaking or swallowing. There could be difficulty in swallowing due to damage to the throat or because the area of the brain that controls swallowing has been damaged. In some cases, a stroke victim can start talking but will eventually lose the ability to speak completely.
Blood Pressure Swelling If you have had a previous attack of a form of this disease, it is possible you will have more bouts of symptoms after you recover from your first attack. Often times the blood pressure that was in the early stages of the attack returns to normal levels once the muscles have returned to normal. Doctors want to prevent strokes by monitoring the blood pressure of their patients before a stroke even takes place. Stroke treatments are different for everyone, so it is best to talk to your doctor about this, but it is a good idea to keep your blood pressure under control if you are at risk of suffering from future strokes.
